Dear Residents

We have received a report of a motorbike theft in the Matchborough area of Redditch.

Officers are reminding local residents and motorbike owners to remain vigilant and take the following crime prevention measures:

Secure your vehicle using a robust chain and lock, ideally attached to a fixed ground anchor.

Use additional security devices such as disc locks, alarm systems, or immobilisers where possible.

Park in well‑lit, overlooked areas or, if available, inside a locked garage.

Cover your motorbike when not in use to reduce visibility to opportunistic offenders.

Consider CCTV or video doorbells to capture any suspicious activity.

We also ask members of the public to report any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in the area, particularly those showing an interest in parked motorcycles.
